Committed to individual transformation, Dr. Zan Nix consults with businesses on issues of diversity, creativity, employee development and leadership. She teaches psychology at Southern Oregon University and keeps a private practice as a life coach. Quoting Marty Marquez, diversity consultant and co-facilitator, "the hallmark of Zan's life and work continues to be an abiding awareness of the sacred in every individual and in their potential to engage in the work of transformation".

Zan has lectured and delivered workshops across the country on diversity issues for the US West Direct Corporation (now Dex Media) where she won numerous awards for both her diversity work and her sales performance.

Zan has an extensive background in designing and delivering workshops and seminars, currently teaching workshops on Spirituality, Passion, Playfulness, and Creativity (See Classes, Workshops and Events for more information) The college courses she teaches include The Psychology Of Love, Human Behavior and Film, Adult Development, Personal and Social Adjustment, Theories of Personality, Humanistic Psychology and Human Sexuality.

Zan holds a bachelors degree in psychology, a master's degree in business psychology and a doctoral degree in spirituality.

Zan's passion for creativity and her love for the arts informs and inspires her personal life as well as her work life as she is an award-winning singer-songwriter, having co-produced her 2002 CD "This Life" (See CD'S/Tapes/song previews), a published poet, and an intuitive guide when it comes to assisting others in viewing their own lives as unfolding works of art (See Individual and Relationship Coaching).

Zan has travelled extensively through Europe and Africa which has deepened her respect and magnified her gratitude for the gifts of cultural diversity.

She lives with her two spiritual mentors and playmates, standard poodles Abby and Calvin. Their home is nestled in the hills of Ashland, Oregon.
